This Amish Cathedral quilt is colorful and scrappy. The colors play well together and form a gorgeous quilt. Made by hand, each small square is individually stitched.

The cathedral window quilt pattern became popular in the 1930's, appearing in the World Fair in 1933. The pattern is reminiscent of a stained glass church window.
